The Library will be closed on Saturday during September.
State Technical Library
The State Technical Library is a scientific and technical library open to the public, located on the premises of Klementinum in the Mariánské náměstí in the Old Town in Prague 1. It has the largest collection of Czech and foreign documents relating to technology, applied natural sciences and social sciences relating to technology. It contains over 1.2 million volumes and consists of books, journals, scholarly documents, trade information, electronic documents and other publications and other texts.

The State technical Library currently focuses its attention to the transformation into the National Technical Library. In this library the collections of the STL, the Czech Technical University Libraries and the Central Library of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague, will be merged. From 2009 on the library will operate in a new building located in the university campus in Prague 6 - Dejvice.
