In July and August the STL closes at 4 p. m. except Tuesday, when it stays open till 8 p. m.
The Reference Centre with 17 seats and 6 workstations provides consulting, Search and
advisory services using information resources from the STL collections and on the internet.
Services of the Reference Centre are provided also to persons not possessing a valid STL
User's Card.

- study of paid (licensed) internet databases
- study of selected databases and trade information sources on CD-ROMs
- lending of documents from the trade document collections both inside the premises of the STL and outside of them
- study of Czech national standards (ČSN), Collection of Laws and abstract journals
- copy service from documents available in the Reference Centre.
