Major Developments since last ICAU-meeting:

Upgrade of our licens with 15 search users to a total of 70 concurrent users.

• The "LIBRIS-to-AGRIS" project was finally brought to a conclusion in June ’97.
• Serials module in full use at our branch libraries.
• Improvements of screens and online help.
• Local improvements of the web interface.
• Web interface (WebSPIRS) implemented on our ERL server.
• Ongoing development of services on the web.

Major Developments planned:

• Migration to SUN/Solaris platform (last week of August).
• Version 3.2_6 (October ’97).
• Continued improvement of the web interface.
• Implementation of the ILL module.
• Development of web facilities connected to ALEPH such as periodicals list and new acquisitions information with request/ordering facilities.

Open Problems:

The inadequate functionality of the WWW server and interface.

Performance problems and (near) breakdowns due to lack of disc space (should be corrected with the installation of the new server).
