Major Developments since last ICAU-meeting:

ILL: Began upgrading of Ariel to include emailing of scanned documents.

Electronic Databases: Addition of ERL and remote access; development of Windows common interface.

Video: Began development of new reservations program for over 4,000 videorecordings.

Aleph: Nationally - addition of LC Names and Subjects Authorities to University network;

beginnings of a national consortium for acquisition of electronic databases and licenses.

Major Developments planned:

Continuation of developments listed above.

Open Problems:

From last year: WWW Interface does not provide search via document number.

There is no provision for sorting any search result.

Since the beginning of this year we have been trying to mount the GUI search module of version 3.2_5. We do not yet have a version which works satisfactorily.
