Status:

Aarhus Technical Library implemented the ALEPH system medio 1995. The library has an agreement with the Library of Aarhus Business School. This library is administrator of the system for Aarhus Tecnical Library . The system is running at the VAX server at the Computing Center at Aarhus Business School.

Our Internet-adress is: merkur.bib.dk, login as AATB.

Aarhus Technical Library is connected to the system by a 64 kb line to UNI-C, the Danish Computing Centre for Research and Education. This year we have been working with the ALEPH WWW interface and have made a test version. It can be accessed at http://www.aarhus.ih.dk.

Plans for next year:

• Change of platform from VMS to ALPHA UNIX (at Aarhus Business School) in the beginning of 1997.
• Change from 3.2_5 to 3.2_6 in the beginning of 1997.
• Change from ALEPH 300 to ALEPH 500 late 1997.
• Establishment of a new database containing locations to foreign standards at Danish technical libraries.
