Major developments since last ICAU meeting:

• The UNIX version of ALEPH was installed at CERN mid-July, after many long months of problem solving and debugging. The conversion itself was rather well prepared and functioned without too many problems.
• Only the WEB server version is available for the end user. It is available under http://alice.cern.ch/
• It is maybe too early to judge the new version. However so far, there are still problems to solve or features to improve in various modules.

Major developments planned:

• The major plan now is to get the ILL module up and running.

Problems:

• The absence of a print-facility for search results on the ALEPH Web server.
