Technology Conception of Metodical Centrum of Conservation TMB During Removal of Flood Consequencies
Metodical Centrum of Conservation (MCC) - project of Technical Museum Brno - continues number of longterm activities at the branch of conservation and restoration in the Czech Republic. The project arosetogether with the government document called "Cultural government policy" and the law No.122/2000 Sb. Situation after flood at July 2002 and subsequent damage on cultural, librarian and archival resources led to formulation of the technological procedure of salvage, which was approved by government of the Czech Republic at 2003. The leading problems of frozen material are amount of volume, difference in materials and degree of dangerousness of microbiological pollution. Designed technology of MCC solves this problem.
