Drying in vacuum packing machines
Description of the proper technology of drying. Materials used. Distinctions in drying of different kinds of bookbinding. Possibilities of part amendment of some shape deformations. Negative influence of atmospheric pressure after vacuum forming and possibilities of its elimination. Risk of fungus growth on the vacuum dried books. Comparing the results of drying process in vacuum packing machines and timber drying rooms in Kralupy nad Vltavou. Final evaluation of present development in drying of flooded books in the Municipal library of Prague.
